Charlie has officially been in the NICU longer than mommy carried him. He is a miracle and such a sweet baby. We are so lucky to be his parents and watch him grow!
Our big guy is 10lbs! He is still learning how to bottle feed but he keeps getting better everyday. Yesterday, he ate a whole bottle for the first time! What a huge feat! He also is starting to coo and he has the sweetest little voice. He still loves his mobile and loves sitting in his boppy. He has been sleeping all through the night and staying awake longer during the day. He is growing up!

He recently had an eye exam and it showed no changes from the last one: still stage zero, which is great! They will continue to check his eyes every two weeks. They also started Charlie on albuterol breathing treatments in the hopes of helping his lungs get stronger so he won’t need so much respiratory support.
Please continue to pray for Charlie’s lungs and his bottle feeding skills! He has been doing such an amazing job overcoming all these obstacles. Just a few more and we can hopefully bring him home! They haven’t really given us a time frame but we are praying it won’t be too much longer. Thank you all so much and hope you have a very blessed week!
