For those of you who have been so invested in Charlie’s story, we are so happy and excited to announce that after 216 days in the NICU, Charlie is FINALLY home! It truly has been a roller coaster ride getting to this point, but we made it! It seemed like we would never see the day that Charlie would get to leave, but it’s here! It’s absolutely surreal!
This is going to be a huge adjustment for all of us, (especially for Charlie and Theo). We would like some time to get into a routine and just enjoy our family finally living together under one roof. We’re asking for no visitors at this time but we will welcome guests as soon as we’re ready. Thank you for your patience with us and your understanding.
We could never thank you all enough for your prayers and support; we wouldn’t have gotten this far without it. I wish I could thank every one of you individually, but that list would be too long! We are so grateful and happy that our NICU journey has come to an end, and our new life as a family of four is beginning! We thank God for all of you and for our little miracle. Til now I was always leary about raving about how he's for sure going to be just fine as it was so "touch and go" so many times...instead I just put him in the hands of the Lord, hoped and prayed for the best. God is so good. Thinking back, look how far you've all come and grown in your faith, hope and love. He is here to show us what God can do.
