Yesterday was a very exciting day for us: Charlie was put on the CPAP and doing great! He has been on it for about 22 hours now and tolerating it very well! The doctors said they are hopeful that Charlie will handle this new change and continue to progress. He’s such a tough, little guy! He can finally keep his hands by his face, (just how he likes them), without all of us being paranoid about him taking his tube out. Please pray that Charlie is strong enough to stay on the CPAP! This is huge news for our sweet boy!

Charlie has had his 18th blood transfusion and another eye exam since our last post. He also weighs 3lbs 12oz! He has done a lot of resting and growing, and he loves to be held by mom and dad. We thank you all so much for keeping us in your prayers and hope you have a wonderful week. God bless!

YEA....FINALLY!!!!! That's been my prayer for a long time. SO thankful. Sounds like he's really growing well. That breast milk must have some miracle grow in it (thanks, Lord). His eye exam was good also? Sharing in your joy.

Sarah,

We are so excited to hear such great news about Charlie and can't believe how big he is getting! Hoping all is well with you. Praying Theo's baby brother will be coming home before you know it. Love to all, Aunt Joani & Uncle Terry
