Charlie did so well yesterday with the skin-to-skin care, they let him do it again today! This time he got to meet dad! He loved snuggling with his dad and he remained stable the entire time. He was awake for a good amount of the time, opening his eyes and blowing bubbles out of his mouth. He looked so peaceful and happy being with his dad, (for 2 hours)! Now that we have started the skin-to-skin, or as they call it, “kangaroo care,” we should be able to hold him a lot more as long as he is doing well. After hanging out with dad, mom got to give him a little bath! He has been loving all the bonding opportunities just as much as we have! This has been an amazing weekend, and we thank you again for your prayers and support! We are so happy to share these wonderful experiences with you all!
