Charlie is officially a month old today! This has been the craziest month of our lives but we couldn’t be more thankful for God’s perfect design behind all of it. He has big plans for Charlie.

Everyone caring for Charlie in the NICU is amazed at his recovery from the ligation. Most babies get sick adjusting to the PDA closing, but so far, Charlie has been very stable and is already getting better! He was taken off his blood pressure medication and instead of being on two ventilators, he is only on one now. We know that the life of a preemie has ups and downs, but right now he is really impressing all of us with his strength and spunk!

He is back on mom’s milk because his NEC is all cleared up! They’re giving him small amounts and will gradually increase as time goes on, but he’s tolerating it really well!

We are so excited and happy to see how well Charlie has been doing through all of this! He is the toughest little boy we know! We are incredibly blessed to get to witness so many miracles in this small baby. Thank you for your prayers and God bless you all!
