Charlie is doing well today! He did manage to take out his tube again yesterday, but he’s been stable since then. He also received his 12th blood transfusion today.

Charlie had been on two different ventilators since he’s been born. Today, he was taken off of one to see how he would tolerate it and he’s doing great so far! They wanted to see how he would do because they are preparing him for heart surgery, or PDA ligation,

tomorrow. His PDA hasn’t gotten any better and it needs to be closed, so they are going to close it surgically. We ask that you pray for Charlie tomorrow while they do the procedure. We know he’s a tough little guy and hope that this will help him grow even stronger.

Thank you all for your prayers! It has been amazing and humbling to see how God has been working in Charlie’s life; prayer is powerful! God bless.

Sarah,

Our prayers continue for Charlie and the success of his PDA ligation, the doctors and nurses that care for him, and of course for you and your family.

All our love, Aunt Joani & Uncle Terry
