Charlie is already showing us his rebellious side; last night he pulled out his breathing tube again. The nurses and doctors were able to get one back in without any problems and he stabilized quickly after. Unfortunately, Charlie likes to keep his hands by his face and he moves his head around a lot, so there’s really nothing they can do to prevent it from happening again. He’s just a strong little guy! He also had to receive his 11th blood transfusion last night.

He has been stable today and doing well. Mom and dad got to help change his diaper and take his temperature again. We also got to listen to his chest with the stethoscope and we could hear him making little sounds! His breathing tube goes right in between his vocal cords so he can’t cry or make loud sounds, but he was making small vocalizations that we could hear in his chest. He is such a little miracle!

Please continue to pray for Charlie and his progress! We thank you and appreciate all your support!

Sarah, looking just like a nurse (told you you should consider it when it's all said & done). You'd love it.
