Charlie has had a rough time these past few days but today has been a better day! They weren’t kidding when they said it would be a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, but we are thankful for all of it. Charlie is our little champion!

The other night, his blood pressure dropped significantly and he had to be put back on medication for it. The meds don’t always mix well with feedings, so they stopped giving him milk and put him back on TPN. They also started him on an antibiotic in case he has an infection somewhere and that could have caused his drop in pressure. And with all of that, he got his 15th blood transfusion! So it has been busy for him but there have been many positives!

As of today, he is completely off his blood pressure medication, he is back on mom’s milk and off the TPN, and tests that were run for signs of infection have come back negative so far! All good things! He still needs to be on the two ventilators instead of one because of his air leak, but we will get there in time. We are also happy to announce that Charlie is officially 2lbs! Who knew we could be so excited about something as small as 2lbs but this is huge for Charlie! We are so happy to see him growing and getting stronger.

Thank you for following Charlie’s progress and praying for him! We appreciate all of you so much. God bless!

Such a time he's had the past couple days. So do they have to put a new line in him each time since he was without any, wasn't he? No infection! Yea! Oh to think he's 2lbs sounds wonderful. He looks to be resting comfortably & is so beatufiful. Praying for all of you with love and trust.
