Charlie is over 6 weeks old now and is growing so much! He is such a strong little guy! This week has been busy for us since we are both back to work and we are still adjusting to it, so we are sorry for the lack of updates!
Last night, Charlie’s breathing tube came out again. This is the 4th time this has happened, but he handles them putting it back in pretty well and bounces back quickly. Before it came out, Charlie was having some trouble with his oxygen levels because his breathing tube is a little small due to him growing. Since it’s small, some of the oxygen he is receiving comes back up and leaking out of his mouth. A bigger tube could fix this problem but he’s too small for the next size up. To compensate for this, they put him back on a second ventilator, the same two he was on before he had his PDA ligation. Even though it seems like a step back, we’re hoping this will help him get his oxygen levels back on track and get him moving in the right direction!
We appreciate all the prayers that are being said for Charlie and if you’d like to be specific, please pray for Charlie’s respiratory issues and that his breathing will get better! He is such a little fighter and we’re hoping this will give him a little break so that he can keep growing and get ever stronger! Thank you all so much! God bless!

If you're staying long after work, I hope Theo sleeps in late. Too bad you couldn't go in early to see him longer then. He is in God's hands.
