Ringing in the New Year with Charlie tonight! It has been an eventful day today. Charlie is showing signs of a new infection and has had to have an IV put in to draw some blood cultures to determine what the infection is and how to treat it. He is also having issues with some type of rash on various parts of his body but the cream they are using seems to help. Charlie is ending the year with his 7th blood transfusion! We are so thankful for generous blood donors that are helping Charlie get the blood he needs. Charlie has maintained his weight at around 560 grams, he has been maintaining a great temperature, and his incubator humidity is down to 50% from 80%. We are hoping for a quiet transition into 2018 and will keep you all posted. Thanks again for all of your prayers and support, and Happy New Year!!!
