Charlie is so big now! He is officially the same weight as Theo was when he was born; a whopping 6lbs 2oz! He’s a little shorter than Theo was but 17.4 inches is pretty long for Charlie! What a blessing it is to watch him grow. He finally looks like a newborn!

Earlier this week, Charlie tried a different form of cpap called a RAM cannula, (pictured below). It’s a nasal cannula that gives him oxygen similar the cpap, but it didn’t give him the pressure he needed to keep his lungs open. He lasted for about 6 hours before having to go back on the cpap, which was a really good first try! He just wasn’t quite ready yet but he will get there! Once he can stay on the RAM cannula, he can try to bottle feed! So exciting!

Dad saw Charlie roll over this week! He was laying on his belly and just rolled over onto his back! What a stinker. Besides that, nothing much is new with Charlie. Just growing and resting! He is such a good baby and everyone loves him! We are so extremely blessed and thank all of you so much for your continued prayers! Please pray for Charlie’s lungs and that they will keep growing so he can work towards coming home! God bless you all!

Look at that big boy....such a miracle...it's all so exciting. Thank you, Jesus, for the gift of his life.

Sarah, we really enjoyed our visit with you, Theo, and Charlie! God blessed you with 2 beautiful boys! We love Charlie's pictures, he is as cute in his diaper as he is in his new clothes! We will pray for the development of his lungs and hope that he just continues to rest and grow!

Love, Aunt Joani & Uncle Terry
