Charlie is 4 months old today! It’s hard to believe 4 months have already gone by and yet, it seems like we’ve been in the NICU forever. We are so thankful that Charlie is well and continuing to thrive. This big guy is 7 lbs! He is enormous!

Today, mom got to give Charlie his first tub bath! He loved sitting in the warm water. He didn’t fuss or squirm. He is such a good boy and enjoys his bath time just as much as mom does!

He is still on his high flow nasal cannula and tolerating it so well! Everyone is so impressed with how big he is getting and he is handling his cannula. He truly is a miracle, through and through. His eye exam showed some small improvements in both eyes, which is wonderful! Good news all around.

We thank you all so much for your prayers and following Charlie’s story. Please pray for his lungs to continue growing so we can keep working toward bringing him home! God bless!

Happy BD Mr. 4 mo. old and to think you're that old instead of a newborn is rather mind-boggling. My, you and your family have gone thru so very much in those 4 months...more than a lot of people in a lifetime. Thinking back, God, who's always in charge, has led you by the hand each day (sometimes hour by hour) and we continue to thank you Jesus...today for the improvement in Charlie's eyes. You are so good.
